Why PLUS? There are two versions of this pruduct. Only use the PLUS (this) version if a Tea-Tree Oil lid wipe has been specifically recommended by your eye care professional. Tea-Tree oil products are designed for specific form of Blepharitis (Demodex).
How to use: Dab new pad over lids and brow and all over eye area. Do not use on wounds/broken skin. One pad can be used both eyelids. The most important part of how-to-use is leave on eyelids overnight! Demodex are active at night and this is where the tea tree oil can have the maximum effect. Note - Will sting eyes if it comes in contact with ocular surface. Tea tree oil is 'menthol'-like. It has a unmistakable odor but most patients are willing to put up with this because it is extremely effetive. Use nightly for a month then a few times a week as maintenance.
All eye lid wipes are mainstay recommendations to control blepharitis (eyelid inflammation and tenderness) which is commonly associated with dry eye disease.
These wipes do not make good make-up removing pads. Use after make-up is removed.
